For the past 5 years Blake Worrell has been internationally recognized for his awards in filmmaking, acknowledged by ACS, AFI, and AACTA.  Some of his YouTube videos have reached over 5 million views. 

 

At age 18, Blake was the youngest employee working in post-production for the iconic figure Roger Corman, at New Concorde studios in Los Angeles.  Roger Corman was a role model for him, along with the people that started from Corman including:  Francis Ford Coppola, Martin Scorsese, James Cameron, Jack Nicholson, Robert De Niro, and many more. 

At age 22, he was managing the sound department at RTL in Berlin, for one of the first 3D animated television series.  After doing a commercial for Nike and Levis, he got heavily involved in music and was signed on SONY and later UNIVERSAL.

In 2013 he started to direct his own music videos, and by 2015 he was nominated for the best music video at the BMV Awards.  That following year, 2016 he shot and directed his first short film with his wife Arly Jover and won the People's Choice Award at the SF3 Australian Film Festival.  He then began writing, acting, and directing.

 

Blake, craves to tell stories that change the framework of peoples thoughts.  To take a moment and show the reflections of life we may miss or take advantage of.  He strives to be better than he was on the last project, to give the cinematic experience to make us more empathic; more human.
